How does Ozon cross-border work?
Ozon acts as a marketplace where international Sellers place their offers and receive orders from Customers and then ship parcels directly to them.

How do I register on Ozon.ru?
https://seller.ozon.ru/cb/application Everything is done online, you need to upload: Document of registration for your company in a country different than Russia ID or passport of the person entitled to manage the business.

How much time does the registration process take?
It usually takes about 1-2 days from registration to confirmation of Seller Account.
Customs rules

What are Customs fees for cross-border orders?
Orders with value below 200 Euro and weight less than 31kg are duty free. For orders with value above 200 Euro Customer pays 15% of the difference between 200 Euro and price of an order. For orders with weight over 31kg Customer pays 4 Eur per each 1kg above the limit. It can be any number of orders per Customer in a week/month/etc.

What is VAT % for cross-border orders?
There is no VAT for cross-border orders in Russia.

Who handles customs procedure?
Courier company handles all requirements to ship cross-border goods to Russia.

Are there any rules or limits about the number of items I
should sell/upload?
We allow any number of goods to be listed and sold on Ozon.

What are commissions?
Ozon commission varies between 5 to 15% depending on product category.

How can I set up logistics to Russia?
We can recommend courier companies that can handle shipping including customs clearance and delivery to a customer. It is up to the seller to choose a logistic operator and sign the contract with him. In what language I manage my account?
Our interface language is English.

What language should I create content in?
You can use English for content creation. System will translate it into Russian automatically. More languages will be added soon.

How are payments to Sellers settled?
When the order is accepted Ozon receives money from Customer. Ozon transfers money to sellers for orders with “Delivered” status minus Ozon commission. Payments are made once per month in Dollars or Euros.

Can Ozon store sellers’ goods in its warehouse?
No, cross-border model requires goods from foreign country to Russia.

Who does customer service?
Basic services like communication or handling returns are made by Sellers via Chat with Consumers. Ozon acts as arbiter in conflicting cases.

What is Ozon Premium?
It is a subscription model with several privileges for its members including 60 days goods return privilege. You can participate in special promotions dedicated to this group.

Who manage my e-store assortment, stocks and prices? Do I have
control of the images and content?
Seller is fully responsible for his e-store on Ozon marketplace. You will manage your assortment, content, stocks and prices, and also choose promotions to participate.

How can my products be advertised on Ozon?
We have promo campaign for new sellers. We also have marketing promotion plan confirmed with every Seller.
Delivery and return

How many days do I have to deliver order to the customer?
By default you have 40 days delivery limit, it will be also shown on your products pages.

What is the goods return process?
Customers have the right to return purchased items within 14 days (60 days for Premium subscribers). Unless it is factory broken or falls in another way under guarantee, the customer pays for back logististics.
